"Rocketscientist" and "Incredibly complicated computer stuff" are the first red flags – he is not being self deprecating. This guy really and truly believes he is the logical end result of all of evolution. He is anal beyond belief, even really beyond comedy. He has terrible taste, is close minded and actually mean. It's even more infuriating then that he believes he has excellent taste, is open minded and nice. He sees the rest of us as fools and he isn't suffering us too gladly. This "Because, like the fox, I know a great many little things. (And consequently, I regularly surprise the heck out of people who figured they were conversing with someone who knew nothing about their obscure little field of interest.)" should actually read "Because, like the three year old, I have a strong opinion about a great many little things. (And consequently, I regularly annoy the hell out of people who figured they were conversing with someone with any social graces at all. Maybe this is why I have no friends.)" Stay away!
